We just finished a re-do of Warren and Fern Stutzman's fireplace room. It had been the same wallpaper and mauve trim for a loooong time. Needless to say it was time for an update! Here is the finished product.

He applied texture and warmed it up with a two-tone paint faux finish. These doors are Fern's favorite part of the room. They're white and bright now!
He also re-did the brick fireplace. He layered light cement, sanded, and painted. He also white-washed the old beams and mantel, and gave it an exciting look.
Love the way this turned out.

An up close of the stucco treatment --- beautiful! We will be going back for a few touch-ups. A smooth over of the hearth, and to also paint the ceiling. As we sat in this room today it felt peaceful. Thanks guys for giving us this opportunity to beautify your home. :0
