....a little experimentation.....

Here is what George calls "making the new old again". We're working on this technique in our stairwell.

We painted cream over the brown wall, then painted red. Now we are sanding and making scratches and so forth.


The next step will be to add another splash or streak of color..... maybe a turquoise? Not sure yet, but it will be slightly graffiti-ish. I want to add some very vivid homemade art pieces to the wall when it's finished. Maybe a large canvas painted black with some random thing painted on it.
