I've been very neglectful in updating this blog! I hope I can keep on top of it while summer works it's magic on us. Seems like when everything turns green outside no one wants to be inside. I really wanted to post pictures on here of Burke & JoEllen's house (thanks for sending me the pics JoEllen!), but for some reason I can't move them from the e-mail to this blog. I've tried everything and it just doesn't work. So....unless I go over there and take pictures with my own camera they're not going to get posted. That's such a shame because it turned out so beautifully. George painted alot of the interior, and did the stucco finish. Everyone just know that it looks gorgeous.
George is well into his exterior down in New Phila. There's been some rain which has slowed down the process, but it's going well. The exterior of this house is just beautiful. It's an old victorian with lots of gingerbread trim. He power-washed first several weeks ago, and now is painting away. She is using various colors on the house which are going to meld beautifully together. It's going to be so nice when finished. I'm definitely going to have to take pictures and post them on here.
George has done several estimates on house exteriors this summer. We're hoping they come through for us to do. This season has brought us so much work, and for that we are so thankful. Being in the painting business is simply an act of faith! Busy, busy....then slowwww. I thank God for this season of fruitfulness! Let's keep it going!
Our backyard......who wants to stay inside when you can enjoy the lushness of the season?
