Well, George is definitely tired this morning. We sat and drank some coffee this morning before he left for work. Litty's is definitely coming along. After two weeks of sanding, scraping and prying loose every bit of loose stuff on that old house, power-washing, then letting it dry, he finally started spraying yesterday. Two coats were sprayed on and he felt pretty good about that. There's nothing like that feeling when the job starts to come together. I'm going to post some pictures on here of the bakery when it's completed.
Yesterday he talked with a lady about her house in New Phila. It's a beautiful old stately home on a tree-lined street. She wants the entire exterior painted. It's one of those homes that will be so beautiful when finished. He's excited to paint it. He says he feels that rush when deciding the colors and seeing in his mind what it'll look like when finished. That's why he's one of the best painters around. He may not get it done in one day...but when it's done it's perfect.
He's completed a condo up in Picket Place for Marcia Miller. He did it in bungalow gold, which we have in our living room. A number of people stopped in to look at it and liked it so much he now has another condo to do, and a house! Now that's the kind of business we like!!
